The Web-based Sales and Inventory Management System for HMJ Incorporation aims to optimize the function of the business. It provides the user with the convenience of being able to track stocks or items that have been received by the company and the items sold during the day. This helps the beneficiary to save time and energy during the recording of stocks by being able to migrate from pen and paper to a computerized system. The accuracy of reports benefited from using the system made to prevent the beneficiary from being confused during recording in their book or other choice of medium since small mistakes can make it harder to read with the handwriting method.
The system aided in tracking sales records that was made and provide a history log of the past transactions made within the system, this saved time by finding the transactions made within the day inside the system rather than flipping notes when tracking sales and transactions. The system is web based which means that the beneficiary can access the system even if they weren’t in their shop. This allowed the beneficiary to keep their mobility since they operate mostly outside to generate sales. This was convenient for their business because they mostly go out and visit other cities and provinces when finding their potential customers.
